ULITA launches its new website

This week, ULITA – an Archive of International Textiles (formerly the University of Leeds International Textiles Archive) launched a new website.

ULITA is housed in St Wilfred’s Chapel on the Western Campus, and runs regular exhibitions to showcase its extensive collection of textiles from around the world. The purpose of the archive is to collect, preserve and document textiles and other related items from many of the textile producing areas of the world for the benefit of scholars, researchers and the public.

The site was redeveloped by Peter Kilroy in wordpress and replaces an ancient wiki based site. It will complement the public facing interface of their textiles repository (currently running emuseum software).
